Fantastic piece of mid-century magic and baseball memorabilia: a vintage 1950s S.S. Adams' League Playing Cards deck. While originally designed and copyrighted in 1914, the blue box features a clear 1950 U.S. Internal Revenue "1 PACK" playing card tax stamp, confirming this specific deck was manufactured and distributed during the post-WWII era.
This is not a standard playing deck, but a specially engineered 53-card novelty/trick deck created by the legendary S.S. Adams Co. for performing baseball-themed magic routines.
