Ali Bongo’s Growing Hat (invented by famed British magic genius Ali Bongo and manufactured/published by the Supreme Magic Company) is a visual, interactive comedy routine for children's and family audiences. The performer introduces a folded paper hat to place onto an assistant or audience volunteer. However, the hat proves to be way too small! Each time the performer unfolds or manipulates the hat to fit, it progressively changes into four different sizes, colors, and patterns—growing larger step-by-step. The routine builds through hilarious visual changes, culminating in a giant, absurdly oversized comedy hat climax that completely covers the volunteer or performer.
