Coin Fantasy is a classic copper/silver transposition handling devised by magician, actor, and Magic Castle stalward Jules Lenier. Grounded in direct, commercial close-up handling, the routine utilizes a double-sided Copper/Silver (C/S) coin combined with matching un-gimmicked silver (typically a US Half Dollar) and copper (English Penny) coins. Lenier’s sequence simplifies the clean handling of hand-to-hand transpositions and vanish/reappearance phases, minimizing heavy sleight work while maximizing visual impact. It became one of the most widely distributed routines of its kind, often included as the primary instruction sheet packaged with manufactured C/S coin sets from major magic dealers (and later compiled in Jerry Mentzer's Magic with a Copper/Silver Coin).
