Condition- overall very good with original instructions. Tape on horse flap card should be replaced. Does not include the Circus Tent mat - this does not impact the effect at all though.
The Vanishing Elephant (a Supreme Exclusive created by Scottish children’s entertainer Johnny Geddes and published by the Supreme Magic Company) is a charming circus-themed children's card and story routine. The performer displays a set of large, high-gloss circus-themed picture cards depicting a Ringmaster, a prancing horse, a clown, and a circus elephant standing on a pedestal. The elephant card is placed inside the "circus tent" for safe keeping. Following interactive "sucker" by-play with the young audience, the performer turns the card around to reveal the word "GONE"—provoking the kids to shout that it's just turned around! When the card is finally flipped over to settle the argument, it reveals a hilarious laughing clown face, proving the elephant has completely vanished into thin air!
Why Add It to Your Repertoire:
Johnny Geddes was a master of youth entertainment, and this deluxe edition routine showcases classic British children's magic structure: high-contrast visuals, direct storytelling, and built-in audience participation. Printed on heavy, high-gloss laminated cardstock by Supreme Magic Co. (Bideford, Devon), the cards feature clever diagonal rear pockets that conceal secret extra cards even at close quarters. It packs completely flat, plays big for birthday parties and school assemblies, and requires no difficult sleight of hand. Complete with the original printed instruction sheet, it is a highly desirable piece for working family entertainers and Supreme Magic collectors.
