A classic piece of magic history! This vintage Abbott’s Thumb Tie is a collectible magic effect from Abbott’s Magic of Colon, Michigan, a well-known American manufacturer of magic apparatus. The original typewritten instruction sheet is included, featuring the title “Abbott’s Thumb Tie” and detailed directions for preparing and presenting this intriguing routine.
The effect uses ribbon to apparently secure the magician’s thumbs together while the performer demonstrates seemingly impossible movements and penetrations. A wonderful find for collectors of vintage magic apparatus, professional magicians, and enthusiasts of classic close-up and stage magic.
