Russ Walsh’s Appearing Wand is an iconic visual production trick engineered by legendary magic craftsman Russ Walsh. Starting completely empty-handed or producing it from under a silk handkerchief or small pouch, a full-sized, rigid magician's wand instantaneously extends into view in the blink of an eye. Powered by Walsh's famous coiled steel spring mechanism, the collapsed unit stays hidden inside the hand until released, creating a sudden, startling production from nowhere.
Why Add It to Your Repertoire:
Russ Walsh apparatus is world-renowned among magic historians and performers for pioneering high-grade spring steel vanishing canes and appearing wands. Unlike modern plastic imitations, original Walsh steel wands fly out with unmatched speed, crispness, and structural rigidity. This vintage, complete-in-box outfit includes the original yellow Russ Walsh box, printed instruction sheets, and accessories, making it both a high-impact opening effect for stage and parlor performers and a highly desirable addition for vintage magic collectors.
