The Deluxe Wood Silk Cabby is a classic wooden parlor and stage illusion cabinet designed for visual silk magic. Built from hardwood with a natural oak finish and brass hardware, the cabinet features front/back drop doors, side pass-through holes, and an internal sliding load chamber mechanism. The included instruction manual (prepared by noted gospel and family-show performer Duane Laflin) details:
Core Functions: Producing, vanishing, color-changing, and blending silk handkerchiefs (e.g., 20th Century Silks, Blendo, or Silk Dyeing).
The Silk Cabby is one of the most versatile utility props in platform, gospel, and children's magic because it allows for clean, open handling without complex sleights. Duane Laflin's accompanying instructional sheet provides clear, performance-tested routines and gospel/educational object lessons. Complete with its original printed instructions and clean wood construction, this apparatus holds solid utility value for working performers and apparatus collectors alike.
