Condition: Like new with original instructions and a wooden egg.
This is Tommy Windsor's Golden Egg Bag, the Fitzkee Award-winning classic egg bag routine, complete with its original Lee Jacobs Productions instruction sheet. You get the green canvas moneybag-style bag printed "Jacobs Banking and Trust" with a rope drawstring through brass eyelets, a white wooden egg, and the instruction sheet with George McAthy's patter. The bag is shown empty, then an egg appears, vanishes, and reappears at the performer's command — a proven comedy routine that plays close-up or on stage, and the set appears in good vintage condition with the bag's print still crisp and the instructions intact.
Tommy Windsor of Marietta, Ohio created this version around 1955, and this set comes from Lee Jacobs Productions of Pomeroy, Ohio, the outfit that manufactured and marketed it — the sheet even carries its original $5 price. A named, complete vintage egg bag with its original instructions is a cut above the generic egg bags on the market, making this a strong piece for both working magicians and collectors of classic American magic apparatus.
