Three red and three silver plastic chips are placed in two rows, a red one between two silvers and a silver between two reds.
When you pick them up, though, you have picked up three reds together and three silvers together- even though they were mixed!
Now two chips are set aside,leaving four chips.
You lay them out, a red one next to a silver, and a silver next to a red.
Again when you pick up the rows, you end up with two reds together and two silvers together!
Finally, setting two chips aside, you work with only two- a red and a silver chip.
You place both chips on the back of your hand, and with a magical flourish, the red chip penetrates through your hand and falls on the table!
